With stints in NYC and Nashville, Wendy has established herself as a popular session player and guest performer with artists ranging from Celtic duo Jeff Johnson & Brian Dunning to Michelle Tumes and Miss America 2002 Katie Harman. In addition to freelance performances, Wendy is a small business owner, the founder of Effesenden Music, providing customized music ensembles and musical arrangements for weddings, events, recording sessions, and benefit concerts. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and daughter.
